It is easier for a camel to go through the eye of a needle than for someone who is rich to enter the kingdom of God. — Mark 10:25 NIV
Thought and Reflection
It’s easy to see ourselves as an average person who is not wealthy. We are richer than most people if we can access e-mail. Our “stuff”, however, should not get in the way our faith and compassion.
God wants our camels to get through the eye and needle. He will, if we can remember that we are given this gift by God, and that we should use it to bless others as well as honor Him.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, it is difficult for me to not worry about money. I know I am richly blessed with many things and that I have an advantage. Teach me not to be owned or distracted by what I have.
Help me to live a life of kindness, generosity, and thankfulness, no matter what blessings You may give me. I pray in Jesus mighty name. Amen.
