Reflection on Today's Verse
Our earthly lives are temporary, but God’s promise is eternal. Our bodies may weaken, circumstances may change, and the things we depend on in this world may eventually pass away. Yet believers are not without hope. God has prepared an everlasting home that cannot be destroyed or taken away.
This verse encourages us to live with an eternal perspective. Difficult seasons do not have the final word. Because of Christ, we can face uncertainty with confidence, knowing that our true home is with God. Our present struggles are temporary, but His promise of eternal life remains secure.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for reminding me that this earthly life is not the end. When I feel weak, afraid, or uncertain about the future, help me place my confidence in Your eternal promises.
Teach me not to hold too tightly to temporary things, but to live each day with my heart focused on You. Give me peace in difficult seasons, strength when my body and spirit feel tired, and hope as I remember the everlasting home You have prepared.
Thank You for the eternal life I have through Jesus Christ. Help me walk faithfully, knowing that my true home is with You.
