God’s purpose is greater than man’s effort, status, or willpower. Salvation is not built on human striving but on God’s mercy. That humbles the proud and comforts the weary. You do not have to rest in your own strength, your own goodness, or your own ability to make yourself acceptable before God.
His purpose stands, and His mercy is sure. Even when many things feel uncertain, God is never uncertain. He is wise, righteous, and fully in control.
