Him that is weak in the faith receive ye, but not to doubtful disputations. — Romans 14:1 KJV
Accept the one whose faith is weak, without quarreling over disputable matters. — Romans 14:1 NIV
Reflection
The new life that we have in Christ is such a wonderful privilege. New Christians are always invited to join our group so that we can participate in their blessing. We do not bring them in so that we can judge their previous mistakes or their current challenges; rather, we do so so that we can welcome them into the loving family of God. God has been merciful and sympathetic to us in our arrival here. Let’s take the same approach with newly converted Christians.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to be more compassionate and patient with my Christian brethren and sisters, especially with those who are just starting out in their faith. In the name of Jesus, I pray. Amen.
