For we are but of yesterday, and know nothing, because our days upon earth are a shadow. — Job 8:9 KJV
For we were born only yesterday and know nothing, and our days on earth are but a shadow. — Job 8:9 NIV
Thought and Reflection
While Job never realized the reason why he endured, he took in his spot in the universe before the Almighty God. At the point when we are youthful, time elapses so leisurely — particularly assuming that we are hanging tight for something uniquely amazing! However, as we age, the years fly by increasingly more rapidly.
However in spite of all our learning, regardless of all our experience, we come to two extraordinary renewals: our insight contrasted with what there is to know is so tiny and our spot in the progression of time is so exceptionally short. Both of these renewals set us up to give our lives and future to our God who yearns to carry us to Himself.
My Prayer
Heavenly and Almighty God, my Abba Father, much thanks for Your staggering persistence as You try to impart Your affection to people like me with my limitations to understand Your grandness and brilliance. Grant me wisdom to go with the choices I really want to make and to pick Your direction and not my own. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
