Thought and Reflection
Wouldn’t it be wonderful to tear down the entire wall that create barriers between us such as social, racial economic, gender and even political. Paul lived his whole life trying to do exactly that, to take away the barriers that divide people by taking the people before Jesus as well as the Cross.
There is no position that are superior or less than at the foot of the cross, only a place to be for people who see God’s power demonstrated through sacrifice and the unconditional love God displays even when he is under attack by human brutality. As the forces of culture and human selfishness are constantly trying to create divisions but we must always remember that it is in Jesus that we are truly one.
My Prayer
Lord, forgive me if I’ve been a victim of prejudice and suspicion that has prevented me from enjoying full fellowship with those You’ve declared as Your children. I pray that my life be a model of redemption and peace as I endeavor to be a loving parent as You love them. In Jesus nae I pray. Amen.
