Thought and Reflection
Submissive is often a positive or negative word depending on how it is related to us. While it is nice to have someone submissive, it can be difficult to serve someone submissively. We are too selfish all the time. God will not allow anyone to be proud or unwilling to serve others, even if they are older believers. We are to dress ourselves with humility, no matter how easy it is to wear the clothes that the Lord requires.
My Prayer
Dear God, thank You for all the great heroes of faith that are listed in Scripture. I am grateful for the lives and examples of other heroes of faith who shared them with me. Bless them with strength and good health.
I pray that You will bless all Your children, particularly those who have served faithfully for many years to You and Your Kingdom. In the mighty name of Jesus I pray. Amen.
