Bible Verse Reflection

John asserts that the closer we are spiritually towards Christ and the closer we are to Christ, more strongly we reflect the faith of God in our actions and words in our behavior, attitude as well as our motivation and thoughts… in what way one can claim, “I love God,” and yet hate his fellow brother. It is impossible. He has declared himself lying. For how can the one who does not love his brother whom he has seen, love God whom he has not seen?

Through the power and the indwelling of the Holy Spirit of God in our lives, let us love in spirit and in truth, in word and in deed, and in motive and in mind.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, I thank You for the amazing words of the Apostle John and the amazing truths that they offer and the many lessons I can gain from them. Thank You for the time that my sins were still unsolved, You loved me so deeply that Christ sacrificed Himself for me.

I pray that through the grace by Your Spirit I will walk in faith and truth, develop faith and understanding, as well as also love other people with that same heavenly divine love Christ has for me. May I want to be a servant to others just as Jesus took me in His arms and offered Himself for me. I ask in His perfect name. Amen.
