But as it is written, Eye hath not seen, nor ear heard, neither have entered into the heart of man, the things which God hath prepared for them that love him. — 1 Corinthians 2:9 KJV
However, as it is written: “What no eye has seen, what no ear has heard, and what no human mind has conceived”—the things God has prepared for those who love him. — 1 Corinthians 2:9 NIV
Thought and Reflection
Children are excited about the holidays, Disneyland as well as summer holiday. They think about how amazing they could be. Christians are looking forward to heaven and dream of meeting the Lord face-to-face as well as returning to those who we cherish, who have gone into the arms of the Lord in the past, as well sharing joy in the glory of Jesus along with His angels.
We can’t begin to imagine the wonderful things that God has in store for us. They are much more magnificent than anything we could ever imagine or think of. Therefore, let’s be prepared to be surprised and be awed by the kingdom’s cause and know that every loss, every hurt, any difficulty, is “not be worth comparing to the glory to be revealed in us.”
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for having prepared an area of glory for me in heaven. I believe that it’s beyond anything I can ever dream of.
Thank You Lord Jesus for going back to heaven to make that space for me. I am looking toward the day that I will stand before You and worship You along with the angels. In Your mighty name I pray. Amen.
