Rejoiceth not in iniquity, but rejoiceth in the truth; Beareth all things, believeth all things, hopeth all things, endureth all things. — 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 KJV
Love does not delight in evil but rejoices with the truth. It always protects, always trusts, always hopes, always perseveres. — 1 Corinthians 13:6-7 NIV
Thought and Reflection
Man’s true nature is completely different from God’s divine nature as revealed by Jesus Christ. And we are able to attain the standards that God expects for all his children by letting go of self and live in Christ in the same way – as long as we do not keep the old sinful nature that was nailed to the cross, and then live and move, and experience our becoming a new character.. of Christ’s life, which we are given at the time of salvation.
If the gift of love is for us to grow and blossom in our lives it is imperative that we be looking towards Jesus and our hearts open to the Holy Spirit.. When we humbly sit before our Father and pray, “Thy will be done.”
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I humble myself before You recognizing your endless love, the incredible need for love in the lives of those around me, and my limited ability to love. Pour Your Holy Spirit into my heart and fill me with the power like You do. In pray this in Jesus name. Amen.
