Reflection

We give thanks to God because it is through His power and grace that we have been set free. This freedom is not something we could have achieved on our own; it is a gift from God. Our new allegiance to the pattern of teaching – the gospel – is a proof to God’s work in our lives.

As Christians, we must continually give thanks for our deliverance from sin and for the ongoing work of God in our hearts. We are called to live out this transformation daily, showing through our actions and choices that we are no longer slaves to sin but devoted followers of Christ. This gratitude should inspire us to deeper obedience and a more profound commitment to God’s will.

My Prayer

Lord, I thank You for the teaching of the gospel that has captured my heart and changed my life. I am grateful for the obedience that has grown within me, not as a burden, but as a joyful response to Your love. Help me to always remember the depth of this transformation and to live out my faith with sincerity and dedication.

Strengthen me, Lord, to follow the pattern of Your teaching each day. May my actions, thoughts, and words reflect the freedom and new life I have found in You. Keep my heart aligned with Your will and guide me in paths of righteousness for Your name’s sake.

In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
