Reflection

This verse encourages us to seek and cherish godly wisdom in all aspects of our lives. The teachings we receive from our elders are not just rules to follow but are meant to guide us towards a righteous and fulfilling life.

Let us pray for the humility and discernment to appreciate and adhere to the godly counsel we receive from our parents and spiritual mentors. Let us also strive to be vessels of wisdom for the next generation, passing on the teachings that lead to a life of faith and obedience to God.

My Prayer

Lord, I pray for strength and courage to uphold these teachings, especially when faced with challenges and temptations. May Your Holy Spirit continuously remind me of the path of wisdom and righteousness, leading me closer to You.

Thank You for the blessing of my parents and the spiritual heritage they have given me. Teach me to be a reflection of their godly teachings in all that I do, and may I pass on this legacy of faith to those who come after me.

In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
