Reflection

Every day presents opportunities to apply this wisdom. In conversations with family, friends, or even strangers, Christians have the chance to use their words to reflect Christ’s love. This might mean offering encouragement, providing comfort, or even sharing the gospel. Each situation requires prayerful consideration and sensitivity to what is most beneficial for those involved.

We should cultivate a habit of reflecting on what we say and how we say it. In our world where words are often used carelessly, this encourages us to see our speech as a powerful tool for good, capable of bringing joy and goodness to our interactions.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, grant me the wisdom to speak with grace and discernment. Help me to think before I speak, ensuring that my words are not only true but also delivered with love and kindness. Let my speech be seasoned with salt, that I may know how to answer everyone as You would have me do.

Please continue to mold my heart and my words, making them reflections of Your love. May I be a vessel of Your peace, bringing joy and goodness through the words I speak at just the right time.

In Jesus’ Name, I pray, Amen.
