Texas Megachurch-Linked Pro-Life Pregnancy Center Launches Third Location in Pastors Hometown

A new chapter unfolds for the Prestonwood Pregnancy Center (PPC) as it opens its third location in Fort Worth, Texas, a significant milestone for this pro-life resource center. Originally established in the 1990s as a ministry of Prestonwood Baptist Church, PPC is dedicated to supporting women facing unplanned pregnancies with compassion and care.

The grand opening of the new clinic is set for next Wednesday, following a successful soft launch last month. Executive Director Leanne Jamieson shared that this new facility is the result of a fruitful partnership with Southwestern Baptist Theological Seminary, which began in 2022. This collaboration aims to provide seminary students with hands-on experience while serving the community.

"It became clear that this partnership would benefit both the seminary and Prestonwood Pregnancy Center," Jamieson explained. The proximity of the new clinic to the seminary allows students to engage directly with clients, gaining valuable insights into the realities of pro-life ministry.

The decision to open in Fort Worth was driven by the high number of clients from that area visiting PPC’s existing clinics in Richardson and South Dallas. Like its sister locations, the Fort Worth clinic will offer a range of essential services, including free pregnancy testing, sonograms, and resources such as diapers and baby clothes. Additionally, clients will have access to licensed professional counselors and classes designed to prepare them for parenthood.

Jamieson emphasized the center’s holistic approach, stating, "We have met the needs of those facing unplanned pregnancies for many years by providing truth wrapped in love and grace." The goal is to ensure that every woman feels valued and supported, helping them recognize that a pregnancy is not a burden, but rather a gift from God.

Prestonwood Senior Pastor Jack Graham, who has deep ties to Fort Worth, expressed his excitement about the new location. "This feels like a homecoming for me," he said. Graham envisions the PPC as a community partner that serves without judgment, offering hope and truth to those in need. "There is nothing more fulfilling than sharing the Gospel and witnessing someone encounter Jesus for the first time. This mission is about making both earthly and eternal impacts."

PPC has previously made headlines for its strategic locations, including a Dallas clinic situated directly across from a Planned Parenthood facility. Jamieson reflected on this decision, stating, "God pointed us there. It’s a story of His provision and a calling to shine in what can be a dark situation for our clients."

Interestingly, the Planned Parenthood facility in South Dallas has been temporarily closed since June 2022, according to their official website. This closure has opened up opportunities for PPC to provide essential services to women seeking alternatives.

As PPC continues to expand its reach, it remains committed to its mission of love, support, and empowerment for women facing difficult choices. The new Fort Worth location is not just a clinic; it’s a sanctuary where hope is restored, and lives are changed.
