Reflection on Today’s Message
God calls us to hold firmly to the true gospel of Jesus Christ. The message of salvation is not something that should be changed, replaced, or mixed with human traditions and personal opinions.
Our hope rests completely in what Christ has accomplished for us. His death and resurrection are sufficient, and salvation is received by grace through faith rather than through human effort or religious works.
We are also called to be discerning. Not every message that sounds spiritual is necessarily true. What we hear and believe should always be tested against the truth of God’s Word.
May we remain grounded in grace, keep our attention on Christ and His finished work, and faithfully hold to the gospel without adding to it or taking away from it.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me the truth of Your Word and the good news of salvation through Jesus Christ. Give me wisdom and discernment so that I will not be led away by teachings that distort or change Your gospel.
Help me remain grounded in Your grace and trust fully in what Christ has accomplished for me. Keep my heart focused on Jesus rather than on human traditions, opinions, or my own efforts.
Give me courage to stand for the truth with humility, love, and faithfulness. May my life reflect gratitude for Your grace, and may I always treasure the gospel You have given.
