Reflection on Today’s Verse
God’s patience should never be mistaken for His approval of sin. Every day He gives us is another expression of His mercy and another opportunity to recognize our wrong choices and return to Him.
His goodness does not push us away in condemnation. Instead, it lovingly draws us toward sincere repentance, forgiveness, and a renewed life through Jesus Christ. When we understand how patient and gracious God has been with us, our hearts should respond with humility and obedience.
Today, let us not take God’s mercy for granted. May His kindness soften our hearts, lead us away from sin, and inspire us to live faithfully according to His will.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your abundant goodness, patience, and mercy toward me. Forgive me for the times I have taken Your grace for granted.
Examine my heart and reveal anything that displeases You. Lead me to sincere repentance, help me turn away from sin, and teach me to live faithfully according to Your will.
