“For all have sinned, and come short of the glory of God; Being justified freely by his grace through the redemption that is in Christ Jesus.“
— Romans 3:23-24 KJV
Reflection on Today's Verse
We’ve all missed the mark. Every one of us. No exceptions, no asterisks, no secret clauses. We’ve lied, doubted, judged, run from God, or tried to clean ourselves up just enough to look spiritual. And still—we fall short.
But here’s the beauty: God doesn’t hand out second chances like a stingy teacher grading papers. He gives grace. Not because we earned it, but because Jesus paid for it in full. It’s not a deal. It’s a gift.
You’re not righteous because you got your act together. You’re righteous because Jesus did. That’s the wildness of grace—it doesn’t wait for your performance. It steps in when you’re flat on your face and says, “Stand up. You’re mine.”
So if you’re feeling unworthy, good. You finally qualify.
Personal Prayer
Father, I know I’ve fallen short. Again and again. I’ve tried to fix myself, hide my flaws, earn your love—but I can’t. And you never asked me to.
Thank you for loving me anyway. For covering all my failure with the blood of Jesus. For calling me righteous, not because I deserve it, but because You are that kind.
Remind me today that grace isn’t fragile. It’s not based on how well I perform but on how deeply You love. Help me walk in that truth—not with guilt, but with gratitude.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
