But now the righteousness of God without the law is manifested, being witnessed by the law and the prophets; Even the righteousness of God which is by faith of Jesus Christ unto all and upon all them that believe: for there is no difference. — Romans 3:21-22 KJV
But now apart from the law the righteousness of God has been made known, to which the Law and the Prophets testify. This righteousness is given through faith in Jesus Christ to all who believe. There is no difference between Jew and Gentile. — Romans 3:21-22 NIV
Thought and Reflection
The Old Testament anticipates another time, when law isn’t the premise of righteousness. The Law and Prophets testify for this time. This righteousness comes from God and is based on the sacrificial work of Jesus who frees us from law and brings to us God’s grace. The main problem for us is trust – many today confuse believing for just reasoning something in one’s mind, while the Bible views belief as something that includes our heart and changes our way of behaving.
So what is the premise on which you are building your life today? What is the measure of your righteousness? On what is your security tied? Say thanks to God we can trust our life, our future, and our salvation to Jesus Christ and not to keeping the law.

Please help me as I with entrusting my life and salvation to Jesus so His life and character can be exemplified in the manner that I live. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
