Romans 15:7 – Today’s Verse for March 31, 2025 Monday

“Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.“
Romans 15:7 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

This verse may be simple, but its message is deeply powerful. It reminds us how Jesus welcomed us exactly as we were—flawed, messy, and broken. He didn’t wait for us to get our act together. He simply opened His arms and said, “Come as you are.”

If Jesus accepts us like that, shouldn’t we do the same for others?

The truth is, we all have our rough edges. None of us have it all figured out. We stumble, we speak without thinking, we unintentionally hurt each other. But this verse challenges us to look past those imperfections—to see others the way Jesus sees us: with compassion, grace, and patience.

Accepting someone doesn’t mean agreeing on everything. It means loving them in spite of the differences. It means choosing empathy over judgment, and grace over criticism. When we live this way, we reflect the heart of Jesus—and that brings glory to God.

So today, take a moment to think about someone you’ve struggled to accept. Maybe they’re different from you, or maybe there’s been hurt. Ask God to give you His eyes, His heart. That small act of acceptance could be the first step toward healing, understanding, and restored connection.

Personal Prayer

Heavenly Father, thank You for loving me just as I am. You see every part of me—the good, the broken, and everything in between—and still, You welcome me with open arms. Your grace humbles me.

Lord, help me extend that same grace to others. Sometimes it’s hard to accept people who are different from me, or those who have caused pain. But I ask You to soften my heart. Teach me to see others through Your eyes—eyes full of compassion, patience, and kindness.

Show me how to love without conditions, just as You have loved me. And when it’s difficult, remind me of the mercy You so freely give.

Let my life be a reflection of Your acceptance. Use me to be a glimpse of Jesus to those who need it most. May the way I love bring You joy and bring others closer to You.

In Jesus’ name, Amen.
