Romans 15:7 – Today’s Verse for March 19, 2025 Wednesday

“Wherefore receive ye one another, as Christ also received us to the glory of God.“
Romans 15:7 KJV

Reflection on Today's Verse

God calls us to love like He does. Not just when it’s easy. Not just with people we already like. He says to accept one another the way Christ accepted us.

Think about that for a moment. Jesus didn’t wait for us to be perfect. He didn’t hold our mistakes against us. He welcomed us as we were, with open arms. That’s the love we’re meant to show others.

It’s not about agreeing on everything. It’s not about ignoring sin. It’s about seeing people through His eyes. He saw our flaws and still reached for us. We should do the same.

When we love like that, we bring praise to God. Not just with words, but with our lives. People see Him in how we treat others.

Who in your life needs that kind of grace today? Maybe it’s someone who hurt you. Maybe it’s someone different from you. Maybe it’s yourself.

Jesus never pushes us away. Let’s not push others away either.

Personal Prayer

Lord Jesus, You welcomed me with open arms. You didn’t wait for me to be perfect. You loved me in my mess, in my weakness, in my sin. Thank You for that grace.

Help me to love others the same way. Soften my heart when I want to judge. Give me patience when I want to turn away. Remind me that I am no better than anyone else—I am just as in need of Your mercy.

Show me who needs Your love today. Maybe it’s someone who hurt me. Maybe it’s someone I don’t understand. Maybe it’s someone I’ve been avoiding. Help me to see them through Your eyes, not mine.

Let my life bring praise to You. Not just with my words, but with how I treat others. Teach me to love like You love. Amen.
