Reflection
Consider the areas of your life where hope seems distant or joy and peace are hard to find. Reflect on the nature of your trust in God. Are there aspects of your life you are holding back or might somehow trying to control on your own? Ask the Holy Spirit to fill you a fresh start, then surrender your worries and fears to God’s loving care.
Remember that our God of hope desires to fill you with all joy and peace as you trust in Him. You should therefore let this trust be the foundation upon which your life is built allowing His Spirit to overflow in you and transform not just your life but also the lives of those around you.
My Prayer
Father, let my life bring glory to you. The joy, peace, hope from knowing you—let all these be manifest in my deeds, words, attitudes. Let me be only a vessel of your love, spreading encouragement and comfort among others.
Thank You, Father, for Your everlasting love and for the promise that You are always with me. I put my confidence in Your promises and believe that your Holy Spirit will guide me always and be my strength.
