I will praise thee, O Lord, with my whole heart; I will shew forth all thy marvellous works. — Psalm 9:1 KJV
I will give thanks to the Lord with all my heart; I will tell of all Your wonders. — Psalm 9:1 NASB
Reflection
By declaring God’s deeds, David sets an example of sharing God’s goodness with others. Our testimonies of God’s work in our lives can inspire and uplift those around us, bringing glory to His name and fostering a community of faith and encouragement.
We should therefore offer heartfelt thanks to God and to share His wonderful works with others. Let us strive to live with gratitude, remembering and proclaiming God’s goodness in our lives.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, give me the courage to tell others of Your wonderful works. Let my life be a testimony of Your goodness and faithfulness. Use my words and actions to bring glory to Your name and to encourage those around me.
Teach me to live each day with a spirit of gratitude and praise, never taking Your blessings for granted. Help me to see Your hand at work in every situation and to trust in Your perfect plan for my life.
Thank You, Lord, for being my refuge and strength. I give You all the honor, praise, and thanks, now and forever.
In Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
