Bible Verse Reflection

Once one lesson has been learned, another will follow. David was required to bow towards his Lord and not resent His shaming rod. He was expected to prepare to follow God’s way, not allowing himself to be influenced by his own desires. He had to let go of his imperfect desires so that the divine will of God can be realized through his actions.

We must learn this vital lesson, be sure to keep a close reign on our sins and be prepared and ready to take the lessons God can teach us. Let His wisdom to guide us in the choices we make in our lives, because when we are enthralled in the Lord He will grant to us desires that are in our hearts.

My Prayer

Dear Lord, I am so sorry that there have been many instances when I’ve missed Your voice, went my own way and then fell to the ground. Thank You for the opportunity to admit my mistakes to You and I trust that You will be trustworthy and kind enough to forgive my transgressions and cleanse me of all sins.

Help me grown in Your grace, increase in faith, and draw me ever closer to You. Keep me attentive to Your instructions, help me to find the way I need to take and direct me by Your ear I ask. What a joy to know You’ve planned every moment of my existence for my gain. Do not let me wander off from Your path of perfection and may my existence be a mighty example to others and a blessing for You. This is what I pray in Jesus powerful name. Amen.
