Thought and Reflection
In this psalm, which is written in desperate times and builds to an increase in faith. Although the situation may appear to be bleak, God will not abandon His children. People who are devoted to God will never be ignored. Instead of ignoring His family members, God has stored up His goodness, which is generously poured out onto them to prove the world that they belong to Him.
The ones who trust in God will be secure and blessed. For those who are on the other side of Jesus resurrection, the promise of vindication and blessing are given a greater depth and significance as well as more confidence.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, the God of Abraham, Isaac, and Jacob, I thank You for Your faithfulness over the years. I am grateful for the amazing faith that proves to me that I am able to trust in You to remember me by Your mercy, to protect me through Your power and shower me with Your kindness.
Give me the strength to hold onto my faith regardless of the challenges and temptations I encounter. In Jesus name I pray. Amen.
