Bible Verse Reflection
David’s heart was straight towards God, and it was clear that David’s stood out from others who worshipped other gods. God will also pour judgment and wrath upon those whose heads Christ lived on earth. Christ’s earthly life is an example of a man whose heart was perfect before God. It is a life that shows that God is the only way to joy and life.
We see Christ through the prophetic pen Israel’s King David. He is the perfect example of a man whose heart is sanctified unto God, and who raised His voice in humble praise and prayer to God for His guidance. We should strive to keep the LORD before our eyes and know that He is always at our side. His grace will never leave us.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, I rejoice with the joy of my salvation, and celebrate the fact that Christ, my risen, ascended Lord, is seated at the right hand of God in heavenly places. We are grateful that He gave me the ability to have eternal life and fellowship with You, even in the face of the many dangers and difficulties that this fallen world presents. I am always before Him.
May I not be shaken by the knowledge that Christ is at the right hand the Majesty on High and has defeated death, giving life-eternal to all who believe. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
