Reflection on Today's Verse from Romans 12:21 - October 9th 2025

Reflection on Today's Verse

Overcoming evil with good is one of the hardest yet most powerful lessons in the Christian walk. The world often tells us to strike back, defend our pride, or repay hurt with hurt—but Christ calls us to a higher response.

When we choose goodness in the face of cruelty, we reflect His nature and prove that light is stronger than darkness. It’s not weakness; it’s holy strength—the kind that transforms hearts and disarms evil’s grip.

Personal Prayer

Lord Jesus, teach me to respond with grace when I’m wronged. Help me to rise above bitterness, to forgive quickly, and to sow kindness where anger once lived.

Strengthen my heart to trust that good truly overcomes evil, not by might, but through Your love working in me. May my life today echo Your mercy and bring peace where there has been pain. Amen.
