Reflection on Today’s Verse
Genuine faith should shape the way we live. Believing in God is not only about what we say; it should also be reflected in our actions, our choices, and the way we treat others.
Good works do not earn us salvation, because salvation comes through God’s mercy and grace. But when we truly understand what God has done for us, gratitude should inspire us to do what is good and useful for the people around us.
A kind word, an honest decision, helping someone in need, forgiving another person, or simply showing patience can become visible expressions of our faith. Even small acts of goodness can reveal the love of God in powerful ways.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your mercy, Your grace, and the gift of salvation. Thank You that I do not have to earn Your love, but can receive it freely through faith in You.
Help me not only to believe in You with my heart, but also to show my faith through the way I live. Guide me to do what is good, to serve others with kindness, and to make choices that honor You.
Give me a willing heart to help those around me and the wisdom to recognize opportunities to be a blessing. May my words, decisions, and actions reflect Your goodness and lead others closer to You.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
