Philippians 1:6 – Today’s Verse for October 17, 2025 Friday

Reflection on Today's Verse from Colossians 3:2 - October 16th 2025

Reflection on Today's Verse

If God Himself began the work in you, then the weight isn’t on your perfection—it’s on His promise. Delays, detours, even today’s stumbles aren’t proof that the work has failed; they’re places where grace keeps building.

Instead of measuring yourself by yesterday’s pace, look for today’s obedience: one surrendered choice, one act of love, one step back into prayer. Where can you trade self-critique for confidence in Christ’s ongoing craftsmanship?

Personal Prayer

Lord Jesus, thank You for beginning a good work in me and for promising to finish it. Quiet my fear of failing and teach me to trust Your steady hand.

Strengthen me to take the next faithful step, to repent quickly, to love generously, and to keep my eyes on You. Complete in me what pleases You, for Your glory and by Your grace. Amen.
