Reflection on Today's Verse from 2 Corinthians 3:17 - November 27th 2025

Reflection on Today's Verse

We usually think of liberty in terms of big events, like breaking bad habits, facing our fears, and trying something new. But God’s freedom goes deeper than that. It begins within. Paul reminds us that true freedom exists wherever the Spirit of the Lord is present. That means that your freedom doesn’t depend on how well things are going, how strong you are emotionally, or how good your day is going. It’s connected to Him.

When you feel like you have to do what other people want or that you’re stuck, remember that the Spirit inside you isn’t a spirit of fear or bondage. He takes you away from guilt, old habits, and anything else that tries to take control of your heart. Life may feel tight around you, but God’s presence makes room inside you. The Lord is your freedom, so you can breathe, trust, and move forward with confidence.

Personal Prayer

Dear God, thank You for reminding me that Your Spirit gives me real freedom. When I feel like my worries are too much or I’m stuck, help me look back to You. Take away all of my fears, all of my burdens, and all of the lies that try to keep me down. Show me how to live in the freedom You’ve already given me.

Today, fill my heart with peace, strength, and understanding. Help me to move with confidence, knowing that no chain can hold me back where You are. In Jesus name I pray, Amen. (1, 2, 3)
