Reflection on Today's Verse
God does a quiet but powerful work in us: he makes us new. It doesn’t always happen with loud noises or big changes. It can show up in small changes, like a calmer reaction, a clearer mind, a softer heart, or a choice that shows who Christ is instead of who you used to be.
Paul says that God has already made you a “new man.” You’re not trying to make a better version of yourself; you’re learning to live in the identity that God already gave you. You can put on that new man every day in the way you think, act, and respond.
Today, let God give your “spirit of your mind” a new life. Let Him change the worried, heavy, and doubtful thoughts. Not by your own strength, but by His grace, you are becoming righteous and truly holy.
Personal Prayer
Dear God in Heaven, thank you for giving me a new life through Christ. Today, teach me how to walk in the new man you made in true holiness and righteousness.
Change my mind, change my thoughts, and calm the things that make me want to go back to old habits. Give me the strength to show Christ in the things I say, think, and do. Please let Your Spirit lead my heart and keep me steady. I give this day to You.
