Reflection on Today's Verse
God’s love was proven at our weakest point. Christ did not wait for us to become worthy, clean, religious, or deserving. While we were yet sinners, He died for us.
That means the believer’s confidence is not in self-improvement, good works, or personal performance. Our confidence is in the finished work of the Lord Jesus Christ. His death was the full demonstration of God’s love, and His grace is the reason we can stand before God with peace, assurance, and hope.
When you feel unworthy, remember this: God already knew your condition, and Christ still died for you.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for commending Your love toward us through the death of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that while we were yet sinners, Christ died for us, not because we earned it, but because of Your grace.
Help me to rest in the finished work of Christ today. Keep my heart from trusting in my own works, feelings, or strength. Let me walk in peace, knowing that my standing before You is secured by the blood of Christ.
Thank You for Your love, Your mercy, and Your grace.
