Reflection on Today's Verse
Even ordinary work can become service to the Lord. Some tasks may feel small, repetitive, or unnoticed by others, but God sees the heart behind them. When we do our work heartily for Him, our attitude changes. We are no longer working only for praise, approval, or reward from people. We are serving with faithfulness because the Lord is worthy.
This verse also teaches us to bring sincerity into everything we do. Whether it is work, ministry, family responsibility, study, or a simple daily duty, the believer can honor God by doing it with a willing and honest heart.
Personal Prayer
Dear Lord, help me to do everything heartily as unto You. Teach me not to depend on the praise of men, but to serve with a faithful and sincere heart. Give me patience in small tasks, humility in unseen work, and joy in every duty You place before me.
May my actions, words, and attitude bring honor to You today. Strengthen my heart to work with diligence, love, and thankfulness.
