Reflection on Today's Verse
Christian life is not about trying to live for God by our own strength. Paul says, “yet not I, but Christ liveth in me.” That means the believer’s old life, ruled by self, has been crucified with Christ. We now live by faith, resting in the love and finished work of the Son of God.
This verse also shows how personal Christ’s love is. Paul did not only say Christ loved the world. He said Christ “loved me, and gave himself for me.” That is a powerful truth to carry today. You are not living alone. Christ gave Himself for you, and His life is now your strength, your identity, and your hope.
Personal Prayer
Lord Jesus, thank You for loving me and giving Yourself for me. Help me remember that my life is no longer centered on myself, but on You. Teach me to live by faith each day, not by fear, pride, or my own strength. May Your life be seen in my words, choices, and actions. Strengthen my heart to trust You more, and remind me that I am loved, redeemed, and alive in You.
