Thought and Reflection

Jesus is concerned that we don’t have a negative attitude towards others, particularly in regards to their motives for the reason they took a certain action. We don’t have the ability to judge the motives of someone else but only God will be able to. If we’re unjustly critical, harsh or overly judgmental it is important to keep in mind that God will apply that same criteria to judge us.

I do not know about you, but I’m in need of grace. As do the people I cherish. I’m going to work difficult to be as generous to others as I trust that God will be gracious to me.

My Prayer

Heavenly Father, forgive me for instances when I’ve been much more critical of people than I ought to be. Bring me to a desire to be kind to other people so that they may be able to see your grace radiating through my life. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
