Bible Verse Reflection

Seek” is the main phrase in this verse. It is a powerful word that describes the intense pursuit of something to create it as our own. The Kingdom along with the righteousness of the people in the Kingdom, isn’t our desire, our hope or our goal but it is our obsession. We will fight for it at any cost. The pursuit will take fervor. It will be our all-consuming effort until we can make it ours, or, better yet, find it our home.

My Prayer

Dear Lord, forgive me as I’ve let my love in your name and personality slip off to the side. Inspire me every morning with a feeling of enthusiasm for your work, and your desire for that day.

Father, I would like to be a fervent seeker. Help me to be more zealous for your Kingdom as my home. I ask this in Jesus’ name, I pray. Amen.
