Reflection on Today's Verse
Your standing before God does not rest on how well you perform, how much you accomplish, or how perfectly you obey. It rests on faith. The law can only show what is wrong, but it cannot give life. Faith, however, rests in what Christ has already done. When your heart is tempted to look inward for assurance, this verse calls you to look outward to Him. The just shall live by faith, not only at the beginning of salvation, but every day after. Your peace, strength, and confidence grow as you keep trusting the grace of God.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You that my righteousness is not found in the law, in my works, or in my own strength. Thank You that in Christ, I am justified by faith. When I am tempted to strive, fear, or doubt, help me to rest in Your grace and trust fully in what the Lord Jesus has done for me.
Teach me to live each day by faith, with a heart settled in Your truth and Your love. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
