Reflection on Today's Verse
Start from what God has already done, not from what you still feel lacking. Many days can feel heavy because the mind naturally counts burdens, delays, weakness, and unanswered questions. But this verse turns your attention upward and inward—to the riches already given in Christ.
You may not always feel strong. You may not always see immediate change around you. Yet in Christ, you are not spiritually poor, abandoned, or empty. You are blessed with heavenly riches that cannot be shaken by circumstances. Grace is yours. Acceptance is yours. Hope is yours. Peace is yours.
This verse also teaches gratitude. Before asking for more, it is good to remember what God has already given. A thankful heart becomes steadier, calmer, and more confident in His love. Even in ordinary days, you can rest in the truth that God has already been abundantly good to you in Christ.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for blessing me with all spiritual blessings in Christ. Thank You that Your grace is greater than my weakness, and Your love is deeper than my fears. When my heart feels troubled, empty, or distracted by the things of this world, help me remember what I already have in Your Son.
Teach me to live with a thankful heart. Help me to rest in Your goodness and not measure my life only by what I can see. Strengthen my faith, quiet my worries, and keep my eyes fixed on the riches of Your grace. Let Your truth fill my heart with peace, joy, and assurance today.
