Reflection on Today's Verse
You are not justified by the works of the law, but by Jesus Christ. That means your peace with God is not built on how strong, consistent, or flawless you are. It is built on what Christ has already done. On days when you feel spiritually strong, this keeps you humble. On days when you feel weak or disappointed in yourself, it keeps you from despair.
Grace does not tell you to ignore holiness, but it does remind you that your acceptance with God was never earned by performance in the first place. In Christ, you are invited to rest, believe, and walk forward with gratitude.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You that I am not justified by my own works, effort, or goodness, but through the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You for the peace that comes from knowing my standing with You rests on Him and not on me. When I am tempted to trust in my own strength, bring me back to Your grace. When I feel weak, remind me that Christ is enough.
Help me to live today in faith, humility, and thankfulness, resting in what You have already provided through Your Son. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
