Reflection on Today's Verse
Your hope rests in one person: Jesus Christ. In a world where people are always searching for answers, approval, or a way to make themselves right before God, this verse points you back to the only true mediator between God and men. Jesus is not just a helper along the way. He is the way. Because of Him, you can come to God with confidence, not because you are worthy in yourself, but because Christ has made peace through His finished work.
When you feel burdened by sin, pressure, or uncertainty, this verse reminds you that your standing before God is secured through the Lord Jesus Christ alone. You do not need to earn your way in. You can rest in the One who gave Himself for you.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the truth of Your Word and for the great comfort found in Christ Jesus. Thank You that there is one mediator between God and men, and that through Him I can come to You freely. When my heart feels weak, doubtful, or afraid, help me to rest in the finished work of Your Son. Keep me from trusting in my own strength, my own goodness, or the ways of this world.
Teach me to look to Jesus alone as my peace, my hope, and my salvation. Strengthen my faith today, guide my steps, and help me live in the confidence of Your grace. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
