Reflection on Today's Verse
Grace is not permission to live carelessly. Grace is the reason you now have real freedom. Under the law, sin exposes your weakness. Under grace, God teaches you who you are in Christ and gives you a new standing, a new life, and a new way to walk. Sin may still try to pull at you, tempt you, or discourage you, but it no longer has rightful dominion over you.
So when you feel frustrated by weakness, do not go back to fear, condemnation, or spiritual exhaustion. Do not measure your standing with God by how strong you feel today. Instead, remember what God has already said is true. You are under grace. In Christ, sin is no longer your master. That truth gives you both comfort and courage to keep walking forward.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for Your grace. Thank You that in Christ I am no longer under the law, but under grace. Thank You that sin is no longer my master, even when I feel weak or discouraged.
Help me to believe what You have said about me. When temptation comes, remind me that I do not belong to sin anymore. When I fail, keep me from falling into condemnation and bring my heart back to the truth of Your grace. Teach me to walk in the freedom You have given me through Christ.
Strengthen me to live in a way that honors You, not by trusting in my own effort, but by resting in what Christ has already done. Let Your grace shape my thoughts, my choices, and my daily life. Thank You for Your patience, Your mercy, and Your unchanging love.
In Jesus’ name, Amen.
