Reflection on Today's Verse
Christian strength does not begin with self-confidence, talent, or personal discipline. It begins “in the Lord” and “in the power of his might.”
There are days when our own strength feels small. We may feel tired, pressured, tempted, discouraged, or spiritually attacked. But God does not tell us to stand in our own ability. He calls us to stand in His strength.
Before we face the battles of the day, we must first remember where our power comes from. The Lord is not asking us to be strong apart from Him. He is teaching us to depend on Him, trust His Word, and walk forward with courage because His might is greater than anything against us.
Personal Prayer
Dear Lord, thank You for reminding me that my strength is found in You. When I feel weak, fearful, or overwhelmed, help me not to rely on myself but to stand in the power of Your might.
Strengthen my heart today. Give me wisdom to face every challenge, patience in every trial, and courage to keep walking by faith. Help me remember that I am not alone, and that Your grace is enough for every battle before me.
May my thoughts, words, and actions today be guided by Your truth.
