Reflection on Today's Verse
Even when we know what is right, we may still struggle to do it. Paul honestly described the battle between the desire to obey God and the weakness of the flesh. Yet he did not end with despair. He turned his eyes to Jesus Christ and thanked God for the deliverance found in Him.
Our failures should not make us run away from God. They should lead us closer to Christ, where grace, forgiveness, and strength are found. We may not overcome every weakness through willpower, but we can depend on the One who has already won the victory. Today, instead of focusing only on where you fall short, thank God for the Savior who never fails.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for giving me hope through Jesus Christ. I confess that I often struggle with weakness and fail to do what I know is right. Please forgive me, strengthen me, and help me depend on Your grace rather than on my own strength.
When I feel discouraged by my failures, remind me that my deliverance is found in Christ. Guide my thoughts, choices, and actions today. Help me walk in obedience, remain humble, and always be thankful for the victory You have provided through Jesus Christ our Lord.
