Reflection on Today's Verse
The resurrection of Christ is not just a detail of the gospel—it is the heart of our faith. If Christ had not risen, preaching would be empty, faith would be powerless, and hope would have no foundation.
But Christ is risen. That means our faith is not vain. Our sins are truly paid for, death has been defeated, and the believer’s hope is secure. We do not follow a dead teacher, but a living Savior. Because He lives, our faith has meaning, our labor has purpose, and our future is certain in Him.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the resurrection of the Lord Jesus Christ. Thank You that my faith is not empty, because Christ is risen and alive forevermore. Help me to stand firm in the truth of the gospel and never forget the power of what Christ has accomplished for me.
Strengthen my heart when I feel weak, remind me of the hope I have in Christ, and help me live each day with confidence in His finished work. May my faith rest not in myself, but in the risen Savior.
