Reflection on Today's Verse
Our right standing before God comes entirely through His grace. We are not justified because we have done enough good works, followed enough rules, or proven ourselves worthy. We are justified because of what Christ has done for us.
This grace does more than forgive us. It gives us a new identity and a secure future. Through Christ, we are made heirs of eternal life. That means our hope is not uncertain or based on our performance. It rests on God’s promise.
When we feel unworthy, discouraged, or afraid that we have failed too much, this verse calls us back to grace. Our confidence is not in ourselves, but in Jesus Christ and His finished work.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for justifying me by Your grace and not by my own works. Thank You for sending Jesus Christ to accomplish what I could never accomplish for myself.
Help me to rest in Your mercy and to remember that my hope of eternal life is secure in Christ. When I feel unworthy or discouraged, remind me that Your grace is greater than my failures.
Teach me to live with gratitude, humility, and confidence in Your promises. May my life reflect the grace You have freely given me.
