Thought and Reflection
As Christians, we are able to live the Christ-like life in us. The goodness that God has set up for us to perform will be fulfilled by our new life as well as through the power of the Holy Spirit. The tasks God has prepared us to accomplish are not possible with the power we have through our old life.
As Christians, we must trust Him to accomplish the works of God within us — to be confident that God will do His work in us in order that He is praised for the work we accomplish, not us.
We cannot just be awed by Him whom God has sent to Salvation but we must also to be awed by Him whom God has sent day by day to perform His goodness, through us.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, help me to continue trusting You for every step that I take in my life. Help me to believe in Him Whom You have sent for it is only through the power of Your Spirit that I can do the works that You have prepared for me to do. I pray in Jesus name. Amen.
