Bible Verse Reflection
Christ left a remarkable legacy of peace within His amazing gospel of peace that was to be shared with a world in clamour – one that is rife with conflict and broken lives and deep suffering, so that those who trust in Him will enjoy an amazing peaceful relationship with God and experience the amazing peace of God. Humanity is aching for peace, peace that is pure God’s amazing peace but there’s no peace in this world without Christ.
There is no peace in the absence of Him as well as no way to hope until we’re reconciled to our Father through Christ Jesus who offered His small flock the gift of peace, when He declared “My Peace I leave with you, my peace I give to you.”
Let the God of peace be with you while you rest and abide in the peace of Christ – His peace, which is wonderful.
My Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank You for the peace that You have given me, the peace that the world cannot give. Teach me and help me proclaim this wonderful peace to everyone I meet in my life. In Jesus mighty name I pray. Amen.
