Let not your heart be troubled: ye believe in God, believe also in me. In my Father’s house are many mansions: if it were not so, I would have told you. I go to prepare a place for you. And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come again, and receive you unto myself; that where I am, there ye may be also. — John 14:1-3 KJV
“Do not let your hearts be troubled. You believe in God; believe also in me. My Father’s house has many rooms; if that were not so, would I have told you that I am going there to prepare a place for you? And if I go and prepare a place for you, I will come back and take you to be with me that you also may be where I am. — John 14:1-3 NIV
Bible Verse Reflection
The Lord is returning! While the world loves to recall Jesus His first visit in the Christmas season, we must be reminded that His second coming will be more significant.
We need to be prepared with lives that are devoted to His glory, and hearts that are brimming with expectation for the time of His return.
My Prayer
Dear God, I am certain that Jesus will return. Will I be eager and faithful when He comes back. Thank you for sending Him this first chance to be a part of my world and to take away my sins.
I am grateful for His return for me into your world and to share the victory you have over the sins of mankind. By the grace of Jesus my Lord I ask. Amen.
