Reflection on Today's Verse
You’re a steward, not a showpiece. In 1 Corinthians 4, Paul pulls the spotlight off “looking impressive” and puts it on being faithful. God didn’t call you to win everyone’s approval… He entrusted you with something, and He’s the One who evaluates it.
Faithfulness beats feelings. Some days you’ll feel strong, other days you won’t. But stewardship isn’t about mood. It’s about steady obedience… showing up, handling what God gave you with care, and refusing to measure your worth by people’s reactions.
Rest in the right Judge. When you remember that the Lord is the One who sees and rewards, you can breathe. You don’t have to defend yourself, prove yourself, or perform. You can serve with a clean heart and a quiet confidence.
Personal Prayer
Heavenly Father, thank Thee for Thy Word. Teach me to account myself as a minister of Christ and a steward of the mysteries of God. Deliver me from the fear of man and the desire to be praised.
Give me a faithful heart, steady, honest, and humble, so I may handle what Thou hast entrusted unto me with reverence and care. Help me to serve Thee today with a clear conscience, and to rest in Thy judgment above all others.
