Reflection on Today's Verse
This verse is a quiet reminder that God’s grace isn’t a last-minute rescue plan — it’s intentional. Paul says God “separated” him from his mother’s womb and “called” him by grace. That means God’s work in your life isn’t random, and it’s not dependent on how impressive you feel today.
Grace also settles the pressure you put on yourself. If you’ve been thinking, “I’ll come to God when I’m better,” grace flips that around: God calls you to make you His, not because you already are.
So today, breathe. Your calling isn’t hanging by a thread of performance. It’s rooted in the God who already knew you, already saw you, and still called you—by His grace.
Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for calling me by Your grace. Thank You that my relationship with You isn’t built on my moods, my consistency, or my strength, but on Your purpose and Your promise. When I feel unworthy or behind, remind me that You are not surprised by my weakness.
Teach me to rest in what You’ve done and to walk in the confidence that You have a plan for my life. Lead my steps today, and let Your grace shape my thoughts, my choices, and my words. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
