Reflection on Today's Verse
There’s a quiet strength in this verse: you were sealed.
That word “sealed” means you’re not floating in limbo, hoping God keeps you if you perform well enough. You’re not “on probation.” If you’ve trusted the gospel, God put His mark on you—His ownership, His protection, His promise.
So when you feel shaky—when you replay failures, when your feelings run hot and cold—this verse pulls you back to something steadier than emotion: God’s faithfulness. Your security isn’t “How tightly can I hold onto God?” It’s “God has already taken hold of me.”
Today, let that truth calm the noise:
When guilt tries to name you, remember: sealed.
When fear tries to predict your future, remember: sealed.

Personal Prayer
Father, thank You for the word of truth and the gospel of my salvation. Thank You that when I believed, You sealed me with the Holy Spirit of promise. When my heart feels uncertain, anchor me in what You have said… not what I feel.
Quiet my doubts, soften my mind, and help me rest in Your faithfulness today. Teach me to walk as someone who belongs to You—secure, grateful, and steady. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
